This is an introductory course in the use of spreadsheet software, more specifically in the use of the Microsoft Office 2003 spreadsheet application, EXCEL. This class is a 1/2-credit, P/W, class. Your successful completion of the class will depend upon your attendance on January 10 and January 12, your class participation and the completion of either some practice labs or a project related to your work. This is basically a hands-on class. We will meet in a computer lab where the instructor will present and demonstrate spreadsheet concepts, and then the student will accomplish a variety of tasks at the computer using the Excel software.
