I have been married to a wonderful man, Mike, for twenty-six years. (I can't believe it!) He is a retired U.S. Navy air traffic controller who, with a Master's Degree in Speech Communications from the University of Nevada, Reno, found his second career at WNCC teaching as a part-time instructor and also, when needed, as a facilitator for interactive video classes. Because I am working full-time, Mike has willingly taken on the primary responsibility of housekeeping which is a relief to me.
Mike has been an avid golfer for as long as he can remember. That is not to say he is a good player, but he enjoys getting out in the the early morning experiences found on the local course. And he gets better at it the more often he plays.
Although we have no children, we consider our two canines, Lucky and Shadow, as "our
kids" since they require much attention, discipline, and, of course, love.
