The bun that Bisnoni started wearing on top of her head in the 1960's grew to immense proportions in the 1970's! This picture is probably how Bisnoni's older grandchildren remember her best - active, traveling, in heels, and wearing a BIG bun on top of her head. During the 1970's, Bisnoni continued to live in Berwyn, IL. Her grandchildren enjoyed frequent visits to her apartment and she enjoyed the frequent opportunities to spoil us! Throughout her life, Bisnoni loved to travel and it was during this time that she began to do it much more frequently. One favorite story is when she joined a yoga tour group to Mexico not knowing that all her fellow travelers were vegetarian. The very carnivorous Bisnoni didn't feel well throughout much of that trip! She also took a trip to her beloved homeland of Italy in the 1970's and had a wonderful time visiting with her family. Perhaps when she was there, she thought about her honeymoon in Florence.
