InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA® is an evangelical and interdenominational campus ministry (Directly from the InterVarsity website). They are a non-profit organization that is on thousands of campus' across the country, including ours. Their goal is to give everyone on the college campus a chance to encounter God and decide for themselves who they think he is.

I have been involved since I was a freshman. They hold small group bible studies, a large group meeting where all of the biblestudies get together. They also have special events, and retreats where we learn a lot and have tons of fun. They hire people to be a campus staff minister on campuses. This is what I am hoping to do now. Currently, I am in the application process to be a campus staff minister here at UNR. As a campus staff minister, I must raise my salary. This is common for a missionary to raise enough money for training and for living expenses.

I will be contacting many of you to ask you if you would like to partner with me in reaching the campus. If I am hired and can raise my salary, I will be leading bible studies with students, training students, helping students investigate who God is through God Investigation Groups, and helping in planning and teaching for the retreats. I will be doing this with a team of other people that are already campus staff ministers. I am very excited to get this chance to be on the campus once I raise the funds necessary.
