This is my not-so-pretty page with links to the software that i've written for Linux.
Current Projects:gPhoto- With the collaboration of myself and 17 other developers, there is now an application for Linux that supports over 70 models of digital cameras, with many more on the way. This was started because, even though there were CLI programs for my camera, i wanted something under GTK+. i had a working codebase by November 1, 1998 called "gtKam" 1 week after starting, at which time Ole Aamot announced he was going to start a project named gPhoto. We got in touch and worked with his vision, and my codebase :)
gUserMan- a user/group manager (GTK+) that allows adding/editing/removing users and groups, as well as a new user template, password changing, and other misc nice-ities. You must have shadowed passwords though. :)
gLaptop- An "Everything Laptop" applet for GNOME that resulted from me wanting a single-click-to-suspend. It has a power meter, time left indicator, as well as generic toggle buttons to tie to any on/off script (network on/off, drive mounted/umounted, etc...)
SohoVoice- A voice mail system for linux, written in PERL, that uses vgetty. This isn't working yet, due to lack of time and focus on other projects. The codebase is released, but again, it does not work quite yet. Adding a dozen lines of code will make it functional though (when i find the time to write them :). The vision is a complete voice-mail solution, which is accessed over the web using realplayer for the audio messages. Sending faxes through lpd, as well as viewing faxes via the web browser will have result in several happy trees. ;)
Linux of the Fujitsu E330 Laptop- This is my experience installing Linux on my E330 laptop. Includes a copy of my XF86Config file for the X settings. (Sorry guys, it is a winmodem :P)
GnomeTab: a GNOME tablet applet for setting up and using tablets under GNOME withOUT the XInput extensions.
